Back when Samantha and I were living in a London hostel on a budget, we found lots of free adventures. It all started on Primrose Hill where Samantha's friend Aimee was hostng her birthday picnic. We were invited. This hill is not something you just stumble upon. It's quite steep and high. The pay off for the trek up is the view. And also the increased step count because walking is free. The following day Aimee kindly offered to be our tour guide. Being my first time in the city, I was very grateful. Our first stop was Picadilly Circus. Of course there was an obligatory phone booth photo. If you don't get a photo with a phone booth have you even really been to London? Buckingham Palace came next. Unfortunately a royal bachelor did not come to greet me. I really should've played up the whole damsel in distress thing.
