Life at Legoland

Life at Legoland has been made that much better thanks to the beautiful bunch of brickheads I've discovered here.

Legoland Windsor Resort
Some of my fellow brickheads and I have explored the park. According to the Ninjago ride I'm only a rookie. It may be a little while before I reach my Wu potential. That's Master Wu with Cara, Kate and I.

And there's Nya with Laura and Greta.

We galloped over to Mia's riding adventure, where you couldn't rein in my excitement.

There was something fishy going on at Atlantis.

Fairytale Brook offered a leisurely boat ride past storybrick scenes.

We all decided to go left, then go right over to the Lego Friends to the Rescue Show.

Laura and I also watched the Return to Skeleton Bay pirate stunt show.

We have spent many mornings and nights in the Legoland Hotel.

The halls of the Castle Hotel have also occupied our time.

We also spend our days surrounded by miniature lands.

Bringing joy to ticket holders.

Beached As Social
Sometimes Legoland hosts social events. The first I attended was a beach themed event at Windsor club, Atik. Here we are with Bethan in the middle.

We were shocked to find there was no sand or sea water in the club. What we did find were a few decent tunes and some brickheads to dance around with.

Toby Carvery
The next social was for the performers at the Old Windsor Toby Carvery. Thankfully Emily drove as I certainly would've lost my way around the most confusing roundabout.

The restaurant is a homely establishment offering a Sunday roast style buffet.

The group was a little too big for one table, so we separated into two groups. This is just some of the gang at Toby's.

Harry didn't make it into the cool table photo as he was a late arrival. Matt was there too, but he was busy being the evening's unofficial photographer.

You can select between four meats or, like me, opt for all four.

For £7.49 I chose my meats and a whole host of veg. The best part is you can drown your meal in as much gravy as you want, which is probably a little less than I took. Here is a visual representation of the self control I lost at the buffet.

Then I regained it because I left about two thirds of the food on my plate, and I didn't order dessert. Greta and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals... or what we could eat. Jonathan was very focused on finishing his entire meal.

We couldn't leave without getting a whole group photo.

Krystal (squatting on my left) is a fellow Aussie, who graciously shared her lollies with me. Those red frogs and Allen's party mix tasted like home.

Superhero Social
The most recent social event was again held at Atik. With a superhero theme and my slight obsession with DIY fancy dress, preparations began a few days earlier. With some paper, pencil, red pen, yellow highlighter and sharpie I created my costume.

Clary Kent was set to take on the dance floor.

But first it was time to take on the gathering at Smoliver's. That's him on the right before his transformation into SuperSam.

Eventually we all made it up the lift to Atik.

The highlight of this evening was the drive home where Lizzy drove around two roundabouts twice. Alice was there too. She's actually 75 years old.

Moving away from friends and family is tough, but I'm grateful to have crossed paths with these lovely brickheads, and many more that wouldn't fit in this post. Thank you for being the best part of my life at Legoland.
