Fall for Autumn

Alice and I took the opportunity to swan around town a few days ago.

I’ve been living in Windsor since June, but have previously neglected to explore. Our adventures led us to Eton. We traversed a bridge to lovely views.

Then we strolled into the quaint town.

A town of art,

books,

hot chocolate,

cake,

and spooky window displays.

It’s also apparently a town of rich men. We didn’t see any, but if we did, we knew exactly where to go.

Autumn was alive in Eton.

And I was alive in autumn. Here’s me trying to look rich and fit in. Don’t tell anybody I’m wearing an old coat with a broken zipper.

Alice and I traipsed through the grounds of Eton College, well the parts that were open to the public.

And took sneaky photos of the parts that weren’t.

We moved onto Windsor, so of course I took a photo of the Castle.

Remember the rich guys I was talking about? I found where they must shop. Alice was particularly interested in the carousel horse, which will be purchased for her by my future, wealthy husband.

We did a spot of Windsor Royal window shopping.

Then headed back to Alice’s place for a few rounds of Mario Kart and Smash Bros. There’s no need to mention I lost every time, except one miraculous time.

Explore Windsor and Eton for free this autumn.
